Marketing Information, Bahamas West End Is Murder:
A strong marketing campaign to mystery and independent bookstores, regional chains and online sellers is planned for March and April, 2005, and continuing through the year. All major trade reviewers will be provided with galleys.
All nontraditional sources, such as mystery book catalogues, direct mail, subrights and others, will be pursued aggressively.
Author appearances are being planned for the following cities: Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Charleston, Chicago, Denver, Los Angeles, Miami (and many other Florida cities), Milwaukee, New Orleans, New York, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington DC.
Also, the author appears extensively in Florida on behalf of his books, appearing at bookstores, libraries, book clubs, and writers groups. Additionally, he appears at national conferences such as Bouchercon, SleuthFest, the Mystery Writers of America (Edgar Symposium & Banquet), and exhibits and sells his books at national scientific meetings such as the Neuroscience Society, Experimental Biology and the Society for Cell Biology. The Series enjoys strong support in the biomedical research community as well as the mystery community.
Dirk Wyle has appeared on radio and television. He can speak knowledgeably and fluently on sailing the Bahamas and on current matters of biomedical science.
